Sit the Bambach Way

Before using a Bambach

Helen treats children and young adults who have dento-facial abnormalities. The problems range from moderate disfigurement up to those who have marked congenital deformities like Apert’s Syndrome, Hemifacial Microsomia and various forms of Cleft Lip and Palate. She sees patients to advise their General Dental Practitioners about treatment for simpler cases, as well as providing treatment in the hospital unit for the more difficult ones. Her clinic is held daily and she is seated for both diagnosis and treatment.

Helen saw The Bambach at an orthodontic conference and decided to try it out. “Back pain is one of the recognised problems with working with patient’s supine in a dental chair, and prevention is better than cure! An additional factor is that I have two horses which I ride regularly and so I am used to sitting in a saddle".

After using a Bambach

“I have never had any trouble with my back and enjoy using the Bambach. I feel uncomfortable when I have to work in a surgery with conventional seats. The Bambach seat is well made, comfortable and has been in daily use for over a decade and still looks smart. If anything ever went wrong with it, I would immediately buy another one”.
