Fitting a foot operated height adjuster

This smart optional extra allows you to adjust your seat height whilst leaving your hands free. It’s ideal Ideal for when you need to change seat height whilthout disrupting the work you are doing with your hands, or for when your hands need to be kept sterile.

1. With the gas lift stem placed into the star base, turn the base upside down.

Ensure that the seat is steady. (figures 1 and 2).

2. Attach the foot height adjuster to the bottom of the gas lift stem.

Place the foot height adjuster wheel onto the gas lift base and align the two centre bolt fixing holes. Insert the two allen screws and tighten hand tight.

3. Securely tighten the fixing bolts and turn the seat upright.

Tighten the two fixing bolts with the allen key, turn the base upright, fit the saddle and test the adjuster. Pressing down anywhere on the edge of the adjuster should release the gas lift enabling you to adjust the seat height.
