If you are having problems raising the seat height, you may have seat locks fitted or the stem has reached its maximum height (fig. 1).
This grey metal bracket under the seat is a seat lock (fig. 2).
You can see 2 levers on the right side of the seat (fig. 3).
The front lever adjusts the height and the rear lever adjusts the tilt (fig. 4).
If when lifting the “raise” lever nothing happens, check for seat locks. If fitted follow the next steps.
Lift the “rear” tilt lever and push down on the front of the seat.
The front of the seat will now tilt forward like this.
Seat in neutral and locked position.
By lifting the “raise” lever now, the seat will raise.
If it doesn’t, you may have reached the max height of the stem. Longer stems are available.
When the seat is at the required height, lift the tilt lever and push down on the back of the seat. This will put the seat back into a more neutral position.
Seat locks engaged.
Seat lock disengaged
